PDA yang satu ini adalah singkatan dari Public Display of Affection!

Public Display of Affection berarti mempertontonkan kemesraan di depan umum, begitu yang satu kutip dari Wikipedia. Masih ada pertentangan yang terjadi di daerah kita contohnya. Beberapa sudah lumrah (baca: remaja/anak muda zaman sekarang), sedangkan yang lainnya masih merasa risih.

Oya, saya juga sering dengar begini: “Bagusan di depan umumlah, daripada di tempat-tempat sunyi tapi lebih ngeri lagi!”

Daerah yang kita tempati akan berbeda-beda tanggapannya mengenai bercumbuan di depan umum ini. Ada yang menganggap sekadar pegangan tangan dan berpelukan mesra masih bisa diterima. Ada lagi yang menganggap berpacaran disertai kissing (baca: ciuman) atau bahkan french kiss sah-sah saja di depan khalayak ramai, bar, club, atau taman.  Seperti lirik didalam lagu mas John Legend "We Just Don’t Care" di atas benar-benar menggambarkan perasaan remaja (anak muda) zaman sekarang yang kadang merasa bahwa ‘cinta mereka’ itu harus diketahui oleh seluruh dunia. Rasanya bukan hanya anak muda saja yang sedang seru-serunya melakukan ini, orang dewasa sekali pun seringkali melakukan hal ini. 

Entahlah, semua kembali ke pribadi masing-masing. Toh, dunia ini berkembang sangat rinci dan detail. Banyak hal tidak dapat terpikirkan. Biarlah masing-masing kita dapat menyaringnya, mana yang pantas dan mana yang tidak perlu dilakukan. Berekspresi dengan cara apapun, kapan pun dan dimanapun sah-sah saja, asalkan tidak mengganggu kepentingan umum. Be Free as You Are...:)
